  Come early.. the parking lot fills up and the line for pancakes can be long! This sugar bush offers a pancake house (a bit pricey and so so on quality), sleigh rides, face painting at $10 per full face, a little playground, a tour of the syrrup making facilities (not the fiery steamy experience you are used to as a kid.. modern tech keeps things very sedated) and a historical representation of a sugar bush staffed by some interesting characters. All in all it was a fun day out with the kids. Word to the wise, don't let the local doggy lick your kids.. he gets in to everything :P

  Great food and lots of choices. You can order just sides. We did beans which are amazing (and found out the secret is dark syrup!!) and the atmosphere is great. They had horse drawn sleds, trails and a park for kids to play at. The prices are reasonable but not cheap. Expect to pay roughly $40-$50 for family of four.

  Excellent educational outdoor family experience. We enjoyed the free parking and admission and purchased family passes so we could enjoy all there was to offer and get a discount. The musician was lively, the face painting was impressive and the food was delicious. My only suggestion is to call ahead as some activities get cancelled unexpectedly (adverse weather for horses).

  Cons: Whole wheat gluten free waffles were the only waffle choice and they tasted like gritty sadness. Food was cold and coffee weak. Pros: The pancakes were decent and the maple syrup great and bottomless. During our visit the dining room had live music which was nice. Also considering the lineup was over an hour wait to get in I expected the dining area to be more packed but it was only 2/3 full. Looks like the kitchen can't keep up with the demand. Overall the price was quite high considering food quality and location.
