  Had lots of fun going out with the family to CHCTF this year. It was our first time. You park, get in a tractor trailer, get pulled in to the bush, saw down a tree. They wrap it. Bring your own mats to tie to roof. We forgot and they let use take some extra twine. Tree was healthy and lasted 3 weeks with minimal loss of needles. Everyone love our tree who visited. This will be something we do yearly. They also had a snack spot inside that I'll have to check out next year.

  Visited for the first time today. We were very impressed with the quality of the trees...all beautifully shaped and healthy. The staff was really friendly too. Got a quick tractor/wagon ride out to a field (saw lots of younger trees on the way...so replanting is happening there). Love the wooden building with a stone fireplace, xmas decorations and wreaths for sale (and fudge...eggnog fudge followed me home). There is a good Cafe as well offering soup, chili, buns with bacon etc. I had the chili (very yummy). Of course there is hot chocolate, coffee and tea...and desserts. They had Santa there as well which was so cute to see the little kids with him. There is a steep toboggan hill just outside and crazy carpets available to borrow (lots of kids brought their own sleds too). Of course I had to race my son down the hill!! Such a fun place. There is lots of land and space to breath... highly recommended for the great trees and for a day of fun with the family. We will be back next year!!
